As you can imagine, making all of these items requires a substantial inventory of fabrics. Since we make mostly Christmas related items, we have a wide selection of Christmas prints and panels from many manufacturers. Some of our supply we have in the Catalog so that you might have access to this wonderful array. All of the pictures show a ruler to help you gauge the pattern size.
During checkout, you can order in 1 Yd, 1/2 Yd, or 1/4 Yd increments.
To order in 1/ Yd increments, order 2 times the yards + 1. For example 2½ Yds is 2 x 2 = 4 +1 = 5 - 1/2 Yard increments.
To order in 1/4 yd increments, order 4 times the number of yards plus the number of quarters. For example 1 3/4 yds is 1 x 4 = 4 + 3 = 7 - 1/4 yd increments.
If there is a specific fabric you are looking for, we have tried to include pattern numbers in the description and in the search criteria to assist you in finding them. While the pictures provide a close representation of colors, let us know if you are matching colors for a project and we will help you find the best options. If there is a specific fabric you need to match, send us a swatch and instructions on what you are looking for and we will do our best. If you need a large amount of a fabric, we offer a 20% discount on full bolts (usually 15 yards).
Check out the selection of kits that come with instructions and all the supplies except the thread and sewing machine. There are kits for tree skirts, stockings, Advent calendars, wall hangings and pot-holders. The small wall hangings and potholders make great gifts for the young or beginning sew-er.
In the future, we will have a variety of appliqués available. These can be attached to your projects using a satin stitch. They will include instructions and bonding agent to make your own iron-on appliqués. It really works and opens the door to all kinds of fun projects. Design your own tree skirts, wall hangings, stockings . . . .
To complete your projects, there are is a selection of bias tape in the most popular colors used in Christmas projects. We also carry Hobbs polyester and cotton batting in 48" and 96" widths that is sold by the yard. For those kitchen projects that need a heat barrier, we have Insul-Bright by Warm Co. which has a reflective poly material which resists heat. It is breathable and won't break down with washing. With Insul-Bright, the potholders and casserole carriers are really do contain the heat.
